Well, my first Thanksgiving has come and gone. T-giving is a pretty sweet holiday - I got to see lots of family and watch them eat 5 pounds of butter per capita. Unfortunately, my T-giving food only extended to some pureed sweet potatoes followed by some pureed apples - no match for the delicious apple pie that everyone else was eating. This 'baby food' is cramping my style.
Grandpa had the nerve to challenge me to a game of block snacker. The rules are pretty simple: try to eat as many blocks as possible. Obviously I won - I have lots of practice eating misc. items (e.g. spoons, Dad's nose, Cleo the cat, dirt, my exersaucer, .....).
My cousin Zoe dressed me up like a gypsy (a gypsy with a tasty magic wand). Too bad Dad didn't videotape me doing my Cher impression: "They call us gypsies, tramps and thieves....".

monsters on parade
Now that it is almost T-giving, it is about time my parents post photos from the Halloween parade. Slackers. Here is the 'farmer' that grew this 'pea pod' over the past 7 months. I grew so much my legs barely fit into this costume.
Here I am with all my friends, Carter (the football), Ada (the grape), and Neva (the spider). Ada and Neva are the oldest so they will undoubtedly be the ones getting me into trouble - I'm already planning to blame them when I get busted trying to buy booze in high school. Then again, maybe that won't be necessary given Carter's dad.....

Crop tops
It was beautiful here this past weekend - perfect conditions for airing out my chub. It was sunny, warm, and the freshly fallen leaves were tasting great. Nothing reminds me of fall like the taste of leaves.
Ummm, can someone please tell my parents that this shirt doesn't fit me. Maybe they were just trying to make me look like Homer Simpson (replace teether with donut). D'Oh!

My Favorite Things
My trip to Vienna is about to come to a close. I had a great time cruising around lots of museums. Here I am in front of (yet another) painting of baby Jesus. Talk about overexposure! - European artists in the 17th century were definitely a bit obsessed with the little man.
This is definitely one of the top ten best places to nurse in Vienna - the art history museum. I highly recommend it if you happen to find yourself in downtown Vienna with a thirst for some breast milk. You can dine while admiring the frescoes on the ceiling.
My trip here to Vienna is drawing to a close. Tomorrow I get to spend 14 hours on the plane antagonizing my fellow travelers with lots of screaming (there is a reason it is called economy class!). It was fun, but I probably won't be back in Austria for awhile, at least until I'm cast in the Sound of Music remake (starring David Hasselhoff and Lady Gaga as the von Trapp parents). My prediction: lederhosen will make a comeback .....

waltzing around Vienna
Good thing mom practiced for 9 months carrying me around in her belly - she was in training to ferry my ass around Vienna.
Mom and dad went to a Frida Kahlo exhibit today. Actually, let me rephrase that - mom and dad went separately through the exhibit while I stayed outside and announced my presence to everybody walking by on the sidewalk. This was the closest I ever really got to the exhibit. What did they expect? - echoey, quiet space = screamfest!
After a long day, nothing beats falling asleep in a crowded cafe while mom and dad gorge themselves on pastries.

The schnitzel has landed
Well I made it to Vienna safe and sound. Here I am in my first Viennese cafe - nothing beats a little espresso to help cope with the jet lag. Although I hate to brag, I was a great traveler on the plane - I barely made a peep throughout the entire 9 hour flight. However, once I got to Heathrow airport - all bets were off...... I really like screaming at the top of my lungs while cruising around the airport. A girl has to announce her presence on the international scene - you know what I mean??
I slept my way through a Rubens exhibit at a museum. Dad said I look like a little cherub in one of the paintings, referring to my thighs as rubenesque... I'll take that as a compliment (?).

The lovin' spoonful
After a big day at the office (a.k.a the exersaucer) I work up a hearty appetite. Sometimes it is nice to have appetizers before the main course of breast milk.
Here I am eating some yams - one of my favorite dishes. Thanks grandpa for my bib - it is badass (it says: "When I get teeth, feed me beef"). I like the bib so much, I usually try to ingest it after the meal - kind of like an after dinner mint if the mint was made of terrycloth.
I'm visualizing whirled peas. More specifically, I'm trying to visualize dad shoveling those peas into my mouth a bit faster. I swear, if you want something done right around here you have to do it yourself.
