Santa's Little Helper

Xmas day was beautiful so mom and dad took me for a hike from the house. I was only awake for about 50% of the hike, but that 50% was awesome. I never fuss on hikes - when I'm strapped in the backpack and breathing in the fresh air I am as happy as can be.

This fleece suit cramps my style. Although I can't crawl, stand, or walk, I need some more technical outerwear when I go outside to do some rolling.
Grandma and Grandpa gave me this piano for H-kah. Here I am banging out some tunes (literally). Requests anyone? - I do a mean version of Iron Butterfly's "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida"....

There's a new grom in town

I just got back from a weekend in Santa Barbara. It was a blast - we went to a wedding on the beach, I took lots of hikes, and I learned that Dad can eat a burrito bigger than my torso in about 10 minutes flat. Here I am tasting the beach - that sand is simply irresistible.

Here I am at the wedding where I dropped a cute bomb (that is when you look cute and do cute stuff to get the party started). As always, mom is looking glamorous while dad is looking, ummm, scruffy...
Check it out brah... Here I am stoked to walk the nose. I may look all chill, but I'm pretty aggro when I'm in the pocket ready to drop into a barrel. Surfing is da bomb - too bad my future as a mini-ripper will be pretty limited living >1000 miles away from the ocean.

A Pilgrim's Progress

Well, my first Thanksgiving has come and gone. T-giving is a pretty sweet holiday - I got to see lots of family and watch them eat 5 pounds of butter per capita. Unfortunately, my T-giving food only extended to some pureed sweet potatoes followed by some pureed apples - no match for the delicious apple pie that everyone else was eating. This 'baby food' is cramping my style.

Grandpa had the nerve to challenge me to a game of block snacker. The rules are pretty simple: try to eat as many blocks as possible. Obviously I won - I have lots of practice eating misc. items (e.g. spoons, Dad's nose, Cleo the cat, dirt, my exersaucer, .....).

My cousin Zoe dressed me up like a gypsy (a gypsy with a tasty magic wand). Too bad Dad didn't videotape me doing my Cher impression: "They call us gypsies, tramps and thieves....".
