Home on the Range

It's been nice and warm here so I get to go outside and do some grazing on the lawn (a.k.a the dirt pile).

Ummm, when will it stop being acceptable for my dad to post photos of my bare ass online? Someone please make it stop - these images are going to haunt me for the rest of my life.
I'm a regular comedian and a budding herpetologist. Here I am telling one of my favorite jokes "What do baby pythons play with? Rattle-snakes". Ba-dum, dum - thank you ladies and germs....
Thankfully this photo is black and white so you can't see that I've got a big green booger coming out of my nose. I've been sick a lot lately. Not fun.

Little Puppy

Dad is convinced that taking care of me is like taking care of a puppy. I'll take that as a compliment - I love puppies! Here I am showing off some of my dog-like skillz. Supposedly bad dogs eat trash.

Bad dogs also like to climb onto the dishwasher and look for sharp items to play with.

It is tough carrying things when crawling like a dog. Until mom and dad get me a fanny pack, I'll have to rely on my woodchuck teeth.
This is the new food bowl I inherited from Gunther - looks about right.

Thursday

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I get to hang out with dad all day (actually, dad gets to hang out with _me_ all day). We do lots of fun stuff - here are some photos from our day today.

Dad lets me crawl around in the living room without a diaper (don't tell mom) - definitely some Risky Business.

Dad was ignoring me, so I had to take matters into my own hands and read myself a book. Yep - I'm pretty precocious.

After all that reading and prancing around nudie, I had to take a nap. For some reason, I only go to sleep when I'm being carried around the neighborhood on my pet mule.

After nap time, it was time to do some grocery shopping. Here I am next to my favorite item at the grocery store. This pouty face was unleashed to get dad to put more bananas in the cart.

By the end of the day, dad was ready to feed me to a saber-toothed tiger. Good thing I'm not a baby growing up in the Pleistocene.

Jaws

Evidently Grandma was pissed at dad for being slow to update my blog. So here you go - a collage of cuteness to appease my fans. I like to ham it up for the camera (ummm, ham - that reminds me that I'm hungry...)

With all the crawling I've been doing lately, I've been eating a lot of food - pastrami, quinoa, goat cheese, pickles, dried peas off the ground, bananas with a side of lint - you name it and it gets engulfed. I'm kind of like a great white shark in a high chair.

Stay tuned for videos of my dance moves (no joke).

Hook, line, and sinker

This video made possible by mom's antiquated record collection and dad's boredom.

Check out the crawling skills! I'm basically hell on wheels now. Watch out electrical sockets - here I come!

Snow bunny

Between X-mas and New Years, I was up near Winter Park relaxing with G-ma, G-pa, Aunt Sara, Rob, Uncle Eli, Tian, and my favorite cousins Ari and Zoe. Of course, I can't forget Waggles the Dog who kept me company whenever I was eating food at my high chair.

It was great - so great that I didn't even want to sleep at night for fear of missing all the fun (Mom still managed to smile despite sleep deprivation).

We don't have many photos of me playing with everyone - for some reason my dad only takes photos when skiing is involved.

O.K., so it wasn't the Hahnenkamm course in Kitzbuhel and I wasn't actually skiing (if you are a stickler for details). However, I did cheer on dad as we were shredding the flat snowmobile trail. I was so excited I passed out in the backpack.

Skiing was pretty fun - I can't wait until Dad takes me on sabbatical (a.k.a. the 'ski'-batical) to Hokkaido! It won't be long before I'm showing him how to ski the pow.

Stay tuned - a video of my mad crawling/slithering skills will debut soon on a blog near you. It is basically Oscar-worthy material if there was an Oscar category for cute babies doing cute stuff.
